Thermal monocular STRIX-S (SV or ST) is high-end modification of STRIX thermal monocular, containing plenty of informational and user functions (upon client’s request) which are required for objects search, surveillance, rescue, detection and registration under low visibility conditions.
Developed particularly for law enforcement units, STRIX-S obtained a similar platform compared to LEGAT Smart thermal weapon scopes. Same as LEGAT Smart, a new STRIX-S monocular has aluminum alloyed body as well as IP67 protection class (IP68 is also available upon request). 17 micron cores based on TiO2 (titanium oxide) or VOx (vanadium oxide) with 384×288 and 640×480 resolution and with 40/50/75 mm objective lenses are available. HD OLED color eye piece display with 1024×768 pixels is available.
Basic set of STRIX-S has the following features and options:
- video recorder supporting up to 64 GB microSD cards with .AVI 640×480p format;
- 5 color palettes (for TiO2 modification only)
- manual adjustment for display brightness and an output for external power source connection;
Wi-Fi module with direct broadcast on a smartphone/tablet via pre-installed WIFI AVIN software can be installed additionally.
There are 2 versions of thermal monocular:
- STRIX-ST based on TiO2 micro bolometer;
- STRIX-SV based on VOx micro bolometer.
STRIX-ST is equipped with the up-to-date TiO2 micro bolometer available in the market. Starting time being less than 4 seconds; NETD<45мК; automatic core calibration; 3 mm thickness aluminum alloy housing…..all these distinctive parameters turn this monocular into extremely fast, rigid and durable “workhorse” even under the most severe conditions.
STRIX-SV is equipped with VOx micro bolometer with terrific image quality in terms of detailing and detection distance. STRIX-SV has shutter type calibration, 10 seconds starting time as well as huge number of settings for the most fastidious customers ever. This monocular can be a right hand for those people who need high detailing of an environment regardless weather conditions.
